The whole process seemed too easy, as Andy handled all the paperwork and gave me clear and concise instructions what what I would need to do. A week prior to the Chapter 7 hearing, I was told what to expect from the minute I stepped in the court house to what type of questions I would be asked. Everything worked out as well as it could. We modified our 1st back in 2012 and didn't heard anything about the 2nd. We figured it was forgiven.... it wasn't on my credit report and we hadn't received a statement in over 6 years when suddenly in 2018 an attorney representing the group that bought it from my original lender (unbeknownst to me) decided I finally had enough equity to foreclose on my house.
